FEATHERS IN THE WIND

Fluttering against my face as the soft breze touches my heart.
Whispering softly as clouds drift slowly by.
I can feel you close tho we are now apart.
Tears falling solfly as raindrops from a gentle sky.

Echos of your love songs linger on the breze.
Bright summer melodies playing quietly it seems.
Notes follow one another whispering through the trees.
You are brought to me once more in my dreams.

Never ending sadness you somehow will relpace.
With songs known only to my lonely heart.
As tears fall softly upon my saddened face.
Your sweet song reminds me we shall never part.

Just Around The Corner

When I dream I see you just around the corner
waiting for me. I see you so clearly, that if I
reached my hand out I would touch your warmth.
I hear you sigh and feel the caress of your breath on
my cheek. I touch my face and picture
you just around the corner.

In the darkness of the night when all the light is gone
and I fear will never see the light of the sun, I hear your heart
beat. Then I see a silver glow. Within that glow a path appears.
Showing me one day I will follow.

I see you always near. Just around the corner,
where my heart dwells.

WINGS HELD HIGH

You put a smile on my face
With all your might
You always left your trace
Never did I see you frown
For your smile was never upside down
Why is it that you loved me so
was I part of your soul
You were always by my side
And although you are no longer on my shoulder
I can still feel your presence
Your fluff warming my heart
I will always miss you
And I know the favor will be returned some day
For when I see you once again
It will be in the sky where
You will once again hold your wings up high
