An Angel

My favorites Christmas story of Becky when she was about 11years old. We had our little grandson down with us on Christmas Eve. He wanted Becky to play ball with him as she had done so many times. Well gifts were being opened and Carter had no interest in gifts. So he got the ball for Becky and gave it to her. Only to have her throw it out into the entry. He ran for the ball gave it back to her and again she throw it out into the entry. Gifts were being passed around and Becky was to get her share .It was kind of one for you and one for Becky Just a treat wrapped in Christmas paper but it was hers and she wanted lots of them.

Again this little two year old boy got the ball and gave it to Becky. This went on for 4 times before I said to all in the room. Hey you guys watch this as she threw the ball back into the entry. After about six times little Carter thought he would open a gift too. Made no different to Becky who open a gift ,she got one too.

The Christmas tree went up every year about a week before Christmas . The cats loved this .They would sleep under it, play under it. Becky just never even looked at it. When one gift made its way under the tree that was it. Cats were not allowed near her tree. She would keep trying to push them away. It was too funny and we could not put any of her gifts there till we wanted her to open them.

Her last Christmas we were not sure she would be with us . So I put the tree up early and for 2 weeks before Christmas she got gifts every day. What a beautiful Christmas Angel our girl was. She will be missed this year and for many years to come.......Forever Becky

Light a candle in Becky's memory, for a sick, abused, or special needs furbaby, or perhaps just someone who needs a prayer and a candle lit.
