Author Comment Ghatten Registered User (8/24/06 11:18 am) Reply | Edit SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST - PLEASE - EVERYONE UPDATE: 9/3 I am asking prayers for one very special here at petloss. Any of you who have spoken with Lobowolf in chat or received a post from Lobowolf72 know how much he has helped and that he has helped many. Those who have not but who have received help or comfort from a Wolf – the wolves are here because of Lobo. The free pages done by Wolfpack Ink and Hearts Who Care are by his vision. Now it is Lobo who needs us, needs our prayers. He has just been told on Monday his son – 42 years young – has cancer. It has spread and they are still doing testing. His son is in a great deal of physical pain, Lobo is in a great deal of emotional pain I have heard often from him to many of us “For all you do for me, I thank you. For all you do for others, I love you.” Please now, for all he has done for so many of us, join your prayers to ours that the doctors can help his son, that his heart need not be shattered. For all the love shared here in this special place I am gratefully yours, Ghattenwolf aka Ghatten aka Rhonda aka Candace/Silver Dawn Our Heavenly Father - He Who Holds the Winds that Whisper and whose hand weaves the great Silver Web that is All. You have wrought so many wonders - each one a miracle. You show us through those you send us a glimpse of the unconditional love you have for us and the unconditional forgiveness that is ours simply because you love us. You fill the world around us with beauty and magic if we only look. Today we ask yet another blessing from you for one of your own, one who has gently cared for so many of your children. Now his son is gravely ill and his heart breaks. Please place a healing hand on his son that he may be made well and whole and a calming hand on his caring heart that he may have peace and comfort. i ask this in your name and in the name of your son. 8/29 update - David is still in the hospital recieving treatments, Lobowolf goes to be with him and comes home to care for the furry children and to keep up with the garden he and David planted. He is sharing all of our prayers and encouragements with David (printing and taking them with him) and generally staying very busy staying on top of the latest information available. All of our prayers and well wishes have been and continue to be very appreciated. Thank you all so much caring. 8/31 update - David is transfering to a closer facility for continued treatment so he can be nearer to his family - he is in good spirits ready to fight this monster and needs our continued prayers. 9/3 update - David's transfer has been delayed for a few days (the doctors need to get on the same page before one acts without talking to the others) - because of the coming board move i have copied this prayer request to the new board - due to copyright issues i will not be able to transfer reply posts. i am saving them for Lobo. 9/10/06 - All of the prayers and good wishes are and continue to be appreciated and read for strength and encouragement - Thank you for continuing to care and pray. 9/18/06 - David continues in treatment - and Lobo is with him daily. His physical pain is being addressed and there are several who are helping Lobo watch over his son. All of the prayers and good wishes are and continue to be appreciated and read for strength and encouragement - Your continuing to care and pray means alot to the one who has helped so many here. 9/23/06 - David continues in treatment - and Lobo is with him daily. Cancer seems to stalk around every corner. It is a terrible disease. I lost my mother, my father and one of my brothers to cancer. My brother was only 29 years old. All three of them had their cancer at the same time. I have another brother who was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago. His was caught in time. But it is a disease that totally drains the patient and the family, physically and emotionally. My prayers will be for peace and calm in Lobowolf's heart, that he will feel our energy and that his son's cancer will be treatable with a good outcome. I promise lots and lots of prayers - when I pray each day, I very rarely ask for anything, so when I do ask - I know he's listening. My 33 yr old niece was diognosed with a very aggressive form of cancer a yr and a half ago, with all the new advances in treatment she is doing well now. I hope the same for David. I want you to know you and David and your family are in my prayers, may the Good Lord be by your sides every step on the way. It is with the utmost gratitude and appreciativeness that i thank you all. The things you have all said here do help to restore the faith that i have almost lost again. somehow in my direst moments the wind that whispers seems to know when to blow it's message to someone/ones who love and care. I want you all to know my son David Lee shall be reading your words and i know they will fill him with strength and the will to survive. There is always hope and there are many new things that can help and cure cancer patients.Last year my own mom was expected to live 2-3 months..with treatment she is still with us.She had radiation therapy with very few side effects and while she is still not cancer -free..she is doing fairly well.Papa she is 75 and your son is so young..he has the strenght that his Papa gave him to fight.The greatest weapon he will have is his determination to live.This disease is beaten everyday..there is always hope. Bless you and all your family at this most difficult time.Prayers from this wonderful family of Love will be coming from all over the world..and prayers do work Papa. As of today Friday September 1 Dave is still in the hospital and will hopefully be returning home soon. Please keep praying for his strength and recovery. The kindness and love expressed here is amazing and I know how very much it is appreciated and needed. May the healing spirit touch David and give him strength and courage to battle this and win.
