When I was born my parents got me a puppy who was born about the
same time as I was. For 10 years we grew up together. She was my lil buddy. We even
had maching teddy bears. Trixie had always been afraid of loud noises, hiding ubder my
parents bed when she heard them. Mum said she was abit jealous when they brought
me home, but before anyone knew we had bonded and were inseparable.

She was such a gentle loving little girl. She never liked being away from home. When we
had to go away and she couldn't come with us, we would leave her with my Grandparents.
She would lose her voice barking and calling us to come back and get her. When we did
come back to take her to where she belonged. She would keep wiggling and licking our
faces till she fell asleep contented to be with her family. She would follow me carrying
her teddybear, every so often putting him down to cuddle and kiss her bear.
Trixie you were the first pup I ever knew both of us being born in 1961. Even after so
many years I still see your gentle eyes and hear your sweet bark. Know you are
forever loved little girl of mine.
