She was such a gentle loving little girl. She never liked being away from home. When we
I GAVE YOU ALL MY LOVE
AND I COULDN'T DO THAT,
I LOOKED THROUGH YOUR WINDOW
I TOLD MYSELF I LOVE HER
CAUSE I KNOW IF YOU LOVED ME
I LOOKED THROUGH YOUR WINDOW
I LOOKED THROUGH YOUR WINDOW
had to go away and she couldn't come with us, we would leave her with my Grandparents.
She would lose her voice barking and calling us to come back and get her. When we did
come back to take her to where she belonged. She would keep wiggling and licking our
faces till she fell asleep contented to be with her family. She would follow me carrying
her teddybear, every so often putting him down to cuddle and kiss her bear.
Trixie you were the first pup I ever knew both of us being born in 1961. Even after so
many years I still see your gentle eyes and hear your sweet bark. Know you are
forever loved little girl of mine.

I LOOKED THROUGH YOUR WINDOW
I LOOKED THROUGH YOUR WINDOW,
THE NIGHT THAT YOU CRIED.
I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING,
BUT YOUR WERN'T SATISFIED.
THAT'S THE BEST I COULD GIVE.
BUT YOU WANTED ME,
BY YOUR RULES TO LIVE.
I'VE RULES OF MY OWN.
NOW YOU'LL GO YOUR WAY
AND I'LL GO ON ALONE
THE NIGHT THAT YOU CRIED
I'M SORRY YOU'RE HURTING
BUT YOU KNOW THAT I TRIED
I'LL WIN HER IF I CAN
BUT I COULDN'T PLAY BY YOUR RULES
AND STILL STAY A MAN
YOU'D SEE THE RIGHT WAY
AND THEN RIGHT OR WRONG DEAR
MY LOVE YOU WOULD STAY
THE NIGHT THAT YOU CRIED
YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME
BUT YOU WEREN'T SATISFIED
YOU KNOW THAT I TRIED
BUT I'M SORRY I SAW YOU
THE NIGHT THAT YOU CRIED.
