It feels like only yesterday that I
said good bye. Watching your
spring green eyes close to reopen
at the Bridge. Some moments
seem to stand still when others
are gone before I am able to sigh.

As I watch the time go by I see you
in my hearts eye. If only time could
be turned back and relieved there
would be no seperation.

Five years looking for you in
the eyes of others. Hearing your
voice in the song of the caring
one. Does time whisper by you
on a loving breeze or is it as
fast as a heart beat.

Dreams sometimes are not
enough to ease the pain I long
to feel the warmth of your
golden fur. Gentle one who
taught so much by being
near

You speak through my heart
placing words reaching out
in understanding to others
who grieve for once was and
when is time will be again.
