I have seen the morning sun
rise upon my window panes.
I have seen the glory of the sun
as sets at end of day.
I have seen rebirth in the
beginnings of each new day.
I have heard the sounds cast
in my mind of words unsaid.

On a clear day, I can see
forever in the skies above me.
I have seen the love as soft
eyes gazed gently into mine,
I have known love on four legs,
more so than ever I have two.
I have had the pleasure of time
that stands still in my mind.

I have shared the silver of
the teardrops as they fell,
I have heard the words of
others in much pain.
There have been things I
know left unsaid as time heals,
But I have sensed those
teardrops fall like rain.

It is known the pain of words
written for this heart that hurts,
And words fill the gap that time
has not yet felt the need to erase,
You too have words that you too
have yet to speak or write,
About the great hurt of the tears
that you wet upon your face.

So let we who care share your
pain with you my friends,
Let not ever the glory of the
rainbows shine be for naught.
One day more shall we rise
to smell the beauty of the rose.
And once more in the web of
great love shall we be caught.

Yes you have known the glory of
the sunrise as it burst upon the land,
And seen it slowly drift across the
meadow gently kissed with dew.
You have felt its warming rays
spread and warm your very soul,
And you have known the love
of four legs, just as you have two.

You know this life as it stands
is not without its grief,
So Live on this life that you
know you must fulfill,
Until that day that you are
called upon to go,
And you will see the sunlight
shine again upon your sill.

Our hearts cry out so often
One more look, one last touch
Let me hold that silky once again
To feel that warmth again
To look into those trusting
eyes of love

Our ears yearn to hear their call
To awaken from this dream
And find them there beside us
Then whispers come to us

We hear that beloved voice again
In the winds that caress our hearts
When we look into the eyes of one
Who we have reached out to
We look into their trusting
eyes of love again

Our hands and arms let them go
They are forever in our hearts
There will come a time when
Our work is done that
We Shall awaken at the Bridge
Look into the distance
And see all are strong and healthy
Then some who have been waiting
Will raise their heads and see you
Running to your arms

You feel that silky warmth again
Will look into the eyes of love
Here they are by your side
Your tears shall fall upon silky fur

Your arms shall hold them again
You shall take with you the love
From the ones here who have yet to follow
And tell those who wait , you are loved

I will always need you, your gentle kindness,
The wisdom you share from life’s journey,
The light you shine to banish the darkness,
How you find what is special in me.

I will always hold to your strong hands
And know they gently cradle my heart
As you guide me through life’s wilderness
Sharing beauty she alone can impart

I will always listen to the words you share
And see the vision I have seen in your eyes
That the world can become better if we care
And with love we can see a better place arise

I will always feel you here by my side
Guiding me and helping me to stand
There is no obstacle we cannot take in stride
Or distance that cannot be spanned

And even now in time’s shifting sands
I know you will ever be there for me
Ever as close as a heartbeat will we stand
No farther than a whisper for all the time to be

So if you walk on ahead to the stardust fields
I will know that you still watch over me
So that you can share the truths that path yields
Where we will all share in eternity

Ebbing tides of sorrow break,
Over those who will seek but ease.
The hearts and souls and minds that ache,
Waiting for the wind called peace.

The love that came from up above,
Was sent with them to us to teach.
Mission complete, took back his loves,
Now we wait for the wind of peace.

They brought His word to us to learn,
Now they fly on wings of iridescent hue,
A silverwolf was sent to me,
Who now flies with wings of blue.

So learn you well the word of love,
Even tho when gone you feel no ease.
When he takes them back above,
And leaves you searching for
the wind called peace.
