Just After The Storm

Just after the storm,
We see a rainbow above
It speaks to us of peace
It speaks to us of love

The sky that had been grey
Suddenly turns bright
And we’re bathed in the glow
Of the rainbow colored light

We see the mood has changed
In this short span of time
From all the fury and anger
To peace that’s truly divine

We see the rainbow glowing
See how it lights the skies
It brings a feeling of hope
As it’s reflected in our eyes

Was put there as a promise
By the one who really cares

HEALING RAINBOW

I made the world a brighter place though some just couldn't see.
The heart of love that was inside a special boy like me.
A loving soul created by the God who made them too.
We had a bond Mom ,you and I and my heart beat ever true.

Time took me from your side to soon and I had to go away.
I know your heart was broken then but I just couldn't stay.
We don't always know the why but one thing is for sure.
The love we share will never die,it lives on always pure.

Though time goes on and you will miss the special life we had.
Try not to cry to much for me when your heart feels ever sad
Remember as you look above that here is where I wait.
Beyond the rainbow in the sky, just by the golden gait.

I will be fine till it's your time to come and be with me.
Then you will feel the purest love and know all that I see.
Bright sun filled days with colors bright from the rainbow in the sky.
Soft and gentle breezes blow as fluffy clouds drift by.

There are no hurts or unkind words for this place is filled with love.
Remember this when you see a rainbow glowing far above.
These words will help to comfort you till you can come and stay.
Then you will know the joy I feel in my heart every day.

A new day

Renewal of mind, of body, of spirit,
comes in many ways, big and small,
loudly or so soft you can hardly hear it,
sometimes you can barely, feel it all,

Days pass so heavy you doubt you'll survive,
all you can do is breath in and breath out,
the dark days, unsure if your reallly alive,
filled with agony, heartache and doubt.

One day, through the icy gray black, of winter,
notice a blade of grass, poking through,
you find in the gloom, an ever slight splinter,
that brings a brief light, of hope, into view.

Then maybe your struck by a colorful flower,
or newborn creatures that start to emerge,
drab, dreary, self, seems to sense a new power,
un willingingly, life seems to surge.

You find yourself gazing at serene blue skies,
watching the clouds, as they catch and release,
heaviness lifts, buds burst from bare branches,
and finally, inside, settles, some form of peace.

New foals running, cross meadows, so green,
newborns, held in arms, filled with love,
hope surges forth, from darkness, we wean,
as you gaze at a snow white winged dove.

Dark turns to light, day comes from night,
storms, yield rainbows, of wonderous hue,
no matter the blight, or how hard the plight,
in some way, the sun, will shine through.

Gentle warm eyes, windows to a gentle soul
Cuddles from a joyful boy, your lil love
Time spent together as one happy family
My greatest joy is you my Momma and Papa
You are my greatest love, the face of caring
I hold near and dear

Each memory is a step closer to reunion
Each cuddle from others that reach out to you
is from me, your lil boy. Not a night will ever go
by that I won't visit your dreams with kisses
And joyful barks in the gentle breeze
Saying my family I am here

For me find comfort in each dream
In each memory
