Pooky's eyes glowed with excitement today is a very special day everything
has to be perfect. Today was his Daddy's Birthday and he was planing a celebration to share his
love and pride in his Daddy. Pooky sat down to rest and look around him to make sure nothing was
missing. Was not a branch on any of the trees that wasn't graced with a silver balloon tied with a blue
ribbon. In honor of his Daddy he had a gift for everyone of his Bridge Family. Those were safely hidden away
Pooky's ears perked up now what was that sound of russeling that he heard. Looking at the big pile of
ribbons that was beside him, he was surprised to see them move and start to walk away. As the ribbons moved
the more he saw of a furry orange kitty. "I am decorating myself to celebrate your Daddy's day and I so
love ribbons. Blue is my colour don't you think goes with my Mama's wolf name" Muffin giggled with joy
"Will there be peas at the party" Muffin asked hopefully. Pooky looked at his brother and shook his head,
never did he think would have a kitty for a brother let alone one who liked peas. He had watched Muffin many
times telling Fluffy about how good fruit and vegetables were. Another walking pile of ribbons followed Muffin
where ever you saw one of the golden brothers the others was not far. Fluffy saw Pooky watching him with an
amused smile. "We're cats you know and is impossible for us to resist ribbons" Fluffy answered with a swish of
a ribbon bedecked tail. "Well you two tangled the ribbons so you have to untangle and put them on the stars"
And Pooky left the brothers to decorate.

Now for the cake, must be a double dutch chocolate cake with blue candles, blue is one of Daddy's favorite colours
Just as was promised the Angels Of The Rainbow had the biggest most beautiful cake ready for the party.
When Pooky had told them of his plans the Angels had quickly told him we will bring a cake to say thank you
to your Daddy for being there for our loves. Don't worry will be special. Just as promised it was. On the top
of the cake was the picture of himself in his daddy's arms. "perfect" pooky sighed "absolutely perfect, thank
you so very much for your kindness. Tears came to his eyes as he looked at the candles blue and silver.
How did they know? whispering on the winds to him "We know your heart Pooky and your great love for your Daddy"

Everything was in it's place and now for his gift to his daddy. The keeper of the Winds had promised him to lift
and carrying him on the winds Of Peace to spend the day by his Daddy's side. "Come Pooky" the wind whispered "is
time" Before he knew Pooky and his gift of carnations were gently placed beside his daddy. "The Day is your's
to be near your Daddy, he feels your love and will hold your flowers near" The Keeper of the Wind spoke as
he gently caressed Pooky's silver fur. "He sees you with the eyes of his heart and hears you with his soul"
Pooky sat down at his Daddy's side and laid his head on his knee. Secretly Pooky hoped would get to ride in
Daddy's truck and ring his bell. He watched Gypsy and saw the love in her eyes for their father and silently
thanked ShiShi for sending her to him. Knowing she was here watching over him gave Pooky great comfort. Many
times Pooky had asked Gypsy to hug daddy for him. She whispered back to him "Anything for you and our Daddy".
Pooky spent this special day by his Daddy's side and when the Keeper Of The wind told him was time he
gently kissed his Daddy's cheek and wished him Birthday Wishes of joy.

All were waiting to greet Pooky at the Bridge, Friskie and Goldie rubbed against his side to show they knew
was not easy leaving behind your true love. "You carry him in your heart no matter where you are" Goldie
whispered into pooky's ear. "Pooky look what we have done for your celebration of love" Pooky looked around
The gardens of the bridge glowed with all the colours of the Rainbow, each star was draped with pride in
ribbons of silver and blue. Candles glowed with the warmth of family. In the middle of the garden was the largest
chocolate cake with the special picture. The words in Vanilla icing on the cake said Forever Love.

Pooky placed before each of his family a small blue box with a silver tag saying their name and told them to open.
Gifts from home and my heart brought them to you. As each gift was opened they heard the voices of their loved
ones and felt a special hug. For each box was a hug from home a rare gift, that all treasured greatly.

All at the bridge lifted their voices and sent on the colours of the rainbow "Happy Birthday Daddy Lobo
Muffin finished off for the others "And Many More My Mama's Poppy"

That night the Star That waits was brighter then any other time of the year, for he was sending Birthday Wishes
to the Heart That Cares. Other stars joined him and lit up the night sky with the silhouette of a heart.
Happy Birthday my Daddy from your Boy
